Celebrate Earth Day

Berkeley County’s “Celebrate Earth Day” event will be held at Cypress Gardens and features recycling games for children, giveaways and a number of engaging booths and displays, including a new (CNG) Natural Gas powered truck courtesy of Republic Services.  An antique tractor show, featuring genuine relics from the “good old days” - including a 35,000 lb. two-story high heavy oil engine - will also be on display. “Celebrate Earth Day” is being sponsored by Berkeley County in conjunction with Cypress Gardens, Berkeley County Water and Sanitation, Santee Cooper, Republic Services and Sonoco Recycling.
