Dennis Fish has served on Berkeley County Council since January 2003.
Mr. Fish has lived in South Carolina since 1963. Mr. Fish is married to the former Connie Moore from Charleston Heights, SC. Mr. Fish has two sons, Carmen and Steven, and five grandchildren. Mr. Fish graduated from Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado, earning a BS in Business Management/Accounting. He is also a US Navy Submarine Service Veteran. He once served as President Arapahoe Resources, an independent production oil company. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, riding his motorcycle and flying.
Mr. Fish strongly supports a fiscally conservative government and believes government must live within its means. He is a member of the Republican party. His local platforms include "quality growth throughout our county which includes managed development, both residential and industrial". Mr. Fish supported the One Cent Sales Tax referendum, which will provide funds to improve roads throughout our County and provide additional jobs. He also supported the Jedburg Road Improvement District and the Jedburg Road Improvement Plan, which will bring additional industry to our county and provide additional jobs.
