Angela is the Chief Administrator Officer.
She was born in Texas and moved to Berkeley County at an early age. She attended Clemson University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. After graduation, she was hired by BCWS as the Recycling Coordinator and Administrator of the Solid Waste Recycling & Disposal Fee. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to the Director of Personnel, Purchasing and Safety. During this tenure, she acquired her state certification as a Certified Public Procurement Buyer in addition to many other certificates in the areas of Human Resources and Safety.
In 2000, she took a position with the Berkeley County School District as the Employee Benefits Manager; however, in August 2004 she came back to the County as Director of Safety & Risk Manager. In 2007, she assumed the role of Director of Administration for BCWS with responsibilities ranging from Human Resource, Payroll, Purchasing, Community/Employee Relations, Information Technology and other special projects.
With the combining of services between BCWS and Berkeley County in 2015, she once again assumed the role of Director of Safety & Risk Management. In 2019, she became the Director of Human Resources and most recently assumed the role of Chief Administrative Officer.
Angela resides in Moncks Corner with her husband Ray. They have their two daughters, Payton and Madeline.
