Strategies

1. Establish an internal controls program to improve compliance in the areas of risk management, operations, and business processes.
2. Create and implement an asset management program.
3. Develop and annually update a comprehensive five-year Capital Improvement Plan.
4. Develop a standard operating procedure for the preparation and execution of the annual budget and audit.
5. Encourage the search and application for grants and funding programs.
6. Conduct a comprehensive review of actual and potential resources in order to identify alternate revenue sources and more equitably balance taxes and fees.
