The Breath of Spring Flower Show
at Cypress Gardens

The Breath of Spring Flower Show will take place at Cypress Gardens on March 1-4, 2012, from 10 AM to 4 PM, each day.  This year the theme of the show is “Berkeley’s Natural Gem”—referring to the 80th anniversary of Cypress Gardens’ opening to the public.  The show is a product of many volunteer hours by the members of 4 garden clubs--Belle Isle Garden Club, Camellia Garden Club of Greater Charleston,   The Garden Club of Otranto, and the Town and Village Garden Club-- and is directed by Laurette Sweet.  The public may enter blooming cut flowers, shrubs and potted plants on February 29, 2012, from 8AM to 11AM.

The 2010 Breath of Spring Flower Show won National Garden Club awards for both the show and schedule.  Last year’s show may be an award winner as well.  This show promises to be stellar and with the early warm weather, there should be an abundance of late winter flowers as well as spring flowers on display. 

Admission to the show is free with regular paid admission to Cypress Garden, www.cypressgardens.info.
