Ken has served on Berkeley County Council since January 2013.

Mr. Gunn has been married to his wife Pat for 43 years and they have two children and six grandchildren. They moved to South Carolina in February 2010 to fulfill a retirement goal of living in the Carolinas close to their children.

Mr. Gunn retired from GE Plastics in 2008. He is a US Army Vietnam veteran and is a former Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic and Volunteer Firefighter.

Mr. Gunn is a conservative Republican who is a member of the Berkeley County Republican Party. His goal while in office is to help prepare Berkeley County for the future by properly managing taxpayer funds using common sense values as his guideline.

Mr. Gunn is the current Spring Grove Plantation Crime Watch Coordinator.
