Emergency Medical Services Department | Basic Trauma Life Support

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) classes at Berkeley County Emergency Medical Services (BCEMS) are scheduled for the first day of any Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course. BLS courses are taught and tested according to AHA standards as a recertification course. Typically, the first 3 hours of our ACLS courses are scheduled as BLS training.

2 BLS classes are always scheduled at Berkeley County EMS every February and July. They will be held 2 days in a row come to either day. You do NOT have to be enrolled in ACLS to attend BLS.
