Mission statement
To provide support to all operating departments, assist in their day-to- day operations by providing coordination and cooperation between department functions and to carry out the directives of the Berkeley County Supervisor.

The Administrative Services Department provides support to the Berkeley County Supervisor in the areas of courier service, switchboard, mailroom, Communications - including providing 911 emergency dispatch services (fire, police, EMS) to the citizens of Berkeley County, MIAP services to those Berkeley County residents who qualify, and all internal printing needs.

Switchboard

The switchboard is manned from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Records Management

We have a complete records management program that includes records retention, maintenance and storage, microfilm and optical storage. Requests for service should be placed at 719-4148.

Medical Indigent Assistance Program

This program provides assistance in payment of hospital bills to our indigent citizens. We are located at 1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner, SC 29461, Room 114. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Any questions about the program should be addressed to 719-4012.

Prescription Discount Card

The NACo drug discount card program helps consumers save money on their prescription medications any time their prescriptions are not covered by insurance. The free cards are distributed in the sponsoring county and may be used at any participating retail pharmacy. The discount card is not insurance.
